Is
Furniture rental a good idea to get my house sale moving? |
| Question |
My
husband and I are presently in the process of selling our house
in Sheffield. Unfortunately we have had to move up to Newcastle
and the house is now empty. We are thinking of dressing
the house in order to make it more attractive to potential
buyers. It is a two bedroomed terrace house located in Ranmoor,
Sheffield. The property is on the market for £179,950. It is
now completely empty apart from curtains, carpets and the odd
picutre on the wall. We are obviously keen to obtain the best
price for the property but do not want to spend hundreds of
pounds buying furniture to dress it - renting furniture sounds
like a good option. Can you tell me what the likely cost of
renting furniture is and if you feel that this is a good idea?
